Seasoned pork and cabbage filling is enveloped decoratively in Chinese water dough, and alternately fried and steamed in pan. The resulting stuffed dumpling is simultaneously crisp, chewy, and moist. It is accompanied by soy dipping sauce seasoned to your liking, and when served as an entrée, a side of blanched sesame bean sprouts.
